Meditation

Meditation is at first a form of focusing, to be fully present in whatsoever one does, which could be walking, cleaning or eating. It can also be to focus on a particular point like breathing, on physical movement even both like with Qigong, or looking at a candle. When a thought is passing we don’t engage with it, we just let it pass, observing it, noticing it, again and again, it is befriending with what it’s happening right now.

Active meditation can be with parts of the body moving or with all of it. It can help the mind and the emotions to settle down, to be quieter while the person is doing something.

At one point with practice, there is No mind, the whole system is so calm and quiet that one can go back to its true Self, the emptiness of one’s being. There is no concentration on something, you become meditation, one does nothing, totally in the here and now “No-Where”.

That takes you to your inner world of silence
